Weight loss can be seen as a task that you accomplish only to achieve some sort of reward for it. Although the idea might be what you are used too, this is completely the wrong way to look at weight loss. Losing weight is not simply jumping from one diet to the next, with periods of fattening yourself in between them.
Adapting a weight loss mindset and lifestyle is what you should do in order to help you in losing weight and then actually keeping it off. If you are serious about losing weight, I would recommend you trying to think about weight loss in that regard as to simply diets.
What Gives you trouble?
During weight loss, you are always challenged with more obstacles each day until you can reach your goal. There is very rarely something that you can avoid. More of it is understanding what problems you have to deal with and then being ready for it when it does come.
Many people like to think that they have done enough one day and cheat a little bit on maybe donuts or a cookie. The problem with this comes when you have no idea how much calories you actually saved throughout the day and if eating that one cookie might just eliminate the hard work that you have done. So the best thing that you want to do is to just avoid cheating at all. Sit back and think about that amazing body you are going to get within a few weeks and make any sort of fatty foods as a curse. If you never actually consider this idea it might help you.
There are no off days when you are thinking about losing weight. Think about it this way, you are considering a lifestyle change not a diet for a few days. Off days should only happen when you are at your desired weight and all that you want to do is keep it there. This way you can take a break after you are done with all the hard work.
